Our Story

Launched in 2015, amplifi is a first-ever provider of educational music and performance-based extended learning programs designed specifically for people of all ages with varying intellectual and developmental disabilities. In late 2016, the company expanded its offerings to include trauma-informed songwriting workshops for veterans of the US armed forces, and victims of traumatic and acquired brain injury.

amplifi has now served more than 1,000 individual participants at a variety of community partners, including public and private schools, day-habilitation services, and residential facilities. amplifi programming is now expanding to multiple states.

"The magic of this program is seeing a student on their first day, and then seeing them on stage, proudly and confidently, singing their song."

Terry O'Malley

It amazes me to see the blossoming transformation of someone who was afraid to speak to someone who's not afraid to sing out loud!

Lisa Symonds

"These participants are finding their abilities in our classrooms. They are finding joy, they are finding friendships, and they are finding love!"
